Mondello park was where I went for a bit of craic this
weekend. I didn't bother with the practice day. It was
a washout anyway. I arrived sunday to a full paddock
and I parked up where I could.
Practice went ok, or so I thought, until I looked at the
qualifying times. I couldn't see my name . Then some
one pointed it out to me. I was looking to the bottom
half of the grid but I qualified 6th. 2nd row start for me.

Race time came and we had a shower. I put on the
wets and when we got out on track it had already
dried with the wind. I got a bad start and was passed
by about 10 bikes. I made up places gradually but it
was all I could do as I was destroying my wets. I
finishes 13th after being passed on the last lap by 3
bikes.

Race 2 went better for me. My start wasn't much
better but I made up the places quickly and finished
10th. The Sv650's are hard to beat, but I have fun
trying.That was It from Mondello and I was satisfied
with my performance as it really was only my 2nd race
of the year. The bike was still in one piece for Dundrod
in a few days.Thats all for now.
