We were looking forward to this years North West 200 until I heard the
news that there will be no race for the 400's or 650's. For us, that means
that our German friend and very quick racer, Manfred Vogl, will now not
race at this years NW200.
I had arranged for Manfred to race my rvf400 at this years event, but due to
the cancellation of the race, unless we can find other machinery, our friend
will not be coming over. It is very unfortunate that things worked out like this
as I already had an engine built for the race by Steve at NDM. ndmoto.com
Maybe we can get Manfred over to race at the Ulster GP or even some
of the national races.
Alan will still race at the NW200 on his 1000 superstock suzuki and you
never know, Shane might make his return to the international stage on his
new 600. We will just have to wait and see what happens next.
The first track day is just 6 weeks away now and there is still a lot of
work to be done. Hopefully we will all be ready. All I have to do now is loose
a few kilos and the bike will go faster. Christmas wasn't too kind to me
weight wise. Have to stop eating crap food. Bye for now.
