Not much happening at the minute,
Bike #1 is stripped and the gearbox getting fixed, also getting new pistons and
rings. The 400 will be raced at the nw200 in 2009 by German rider Manfred
Vogl. He will get a run out on the bike at Tandragee to sort out any issues,
though there should be none.
I plan on doing 3 out of the 4 clubman rounds in March 09 and do what ever I
can in April including the easter nationals.
Bike #2 is being built whenever I get a bit of time. i have frame, swingarm,
subframe, engine and electrics, carbs, airbox etc, but as of yet, I have no front
end or rear shock and linkage.A cbr1000rr ohlins shock is a good fit in the rvf.
Works really well too. Also required is an exhaust system. So far, things are
looking good for 09.
Alan sold his 600 suzuki and only has the big 1000 suzuki now.
Shane will be back racing in 09 on unconfirmed machinery.
